Childbirth Seminar Options

All of the classes are designed to prepare you for labor and delivery so that you and your partner will feel confident, informed and relaxed during your birth experience. In each course, the topics covered will include stages and progression of labor, variations of labor, natural births and options for pain management, coping techniques, your birthing team, interventions and prevention, postpartum care, breastfeeding, and your postpartum plan. My goal is to create a supportive environment for you and your partner to gain knowledge and be better prepared during labor and childbirth. We will practice several different comfort measures and relaxation techniques.  I want you and your partner to leave feeling confident in your knowledge about what to expect during labor and birth.

This course is a comprehensive six-hour seminar held in a one-day session. It is tailored for expectant first-time parents. The class covers various topics such as recognizing labor signs and stages, decision-making skills, advocating for your birth preferences, handling birth-related challenges, learning comfort and coping methods, understanding the role of a doula, exploring natural birthing processes, discussing interventions and cesarean births, and preparing for a natural childbirth within a hospital environment.

Customized private classes are crafted to address your individual needs and concerns, whether you are first-time parents seeking tailored guidance or experienced individuals seeking a review. This 3-hour session covers similar topics as the full-day seminar but in a more condensed manner, allowing for personalized focus on specific areas based on your needs.
